Winter Park, FL – At the recent (July 16-20, 2003) American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) Annual Convention at the W Seattle Hotel in downtown Seattle, WA, Lucia Custom Home Designers was presented four design awards. The international design competition was sponsored by The Garlinghouse Company and featured New Home Designs (built and unbuilt), as well as, Remodeling and Renovation design. In the New Home category, Lucia received a First Place and a Second Place Publisher’s Award. The company also garnered two top Renovation Awards for outstanding remodeling and renovation design. Since 1950, AIBD has provided building designers with educational resources, and has developed nationwide design standards and a code of ethics for the building design profession.
