Winter Park, FL – Lucia, Kassik & Monday, Inc. today announced a spectacular waterfront improvement design, in the City of Orlando, on Lake Highland. The existing home built in 1925 was constructed with brick and frame. A detached garage/apartment was constructed in the early 1980’s. The homeowner’s desired complete remodel of sloping back yard to the lake, including the demolition and rebuild of a guest cottage with wheelchair access, bedroom, bathroom, wet bar, microwave and refrigerator. The cottage includes a covered porch with an outdoor summer kitchen and carport. A new boathouse extending over the water and a new seawall are also incorporated in the design. The homeowner is a repeat client of Lucia, Kassik & Monday, Inc. and PSG Construction, Inc. The team provided interior redesign and construction services during the 1999 interior remodel.
