As a Registered Architect, Mr. Monday spent twenty years in private practice in Winter Park, Florida. He and his partner were the Supervising Architects for the Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Central District, State of Florida. He was responsible for examining plans and issuing building permits for all hotels, motels and restaurants within a seven county area. Mr. Monday was heavily involved in the development of Walt Disney World; working with Underwriters Laboratories in the fire testing and rating of the rooms within the Contemporary Hotel. Mr. Monday personally designed, and was the architect for, more than 1,000 buildings and projects. His projects include several city halls, county buildings, police and sheriffs' department facilities. Other government projects include buildings for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and the Florida National Guard. Mr. Monday has personally designed sixty-seven banks. Commercial projects include designs for several hundred large condominium, apartment and office projects throughout Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. |
