Architecture
Q: What is the difference between a commercial and residential building?
A: Residential buildings are one- and two- family dwelling structures only.
Everything else is considered commercial.
Q: Do your building designs have a particular look?
A: Each one of our designs
is a unique reflection of the aesthetic, functional, financial and technical
needs of our client.
Q: Do all architectural firms provide the same services?
A: The type and level
of services depends on the client and the scope of work. At Lucia, Kassik & Monday, Inc. we offer a variety of levels of service.
The architect has the training and experience to guide you through the entire
building process. The architect heads up a team of specialists including contractors,
engineers, landscape architects and others while looking out for the client’s
interest.
Q: Do you design buildings in other geographic areas?
A: We have the capacity
to fulfill our client’s needs wherever the
project may ultimately be located.
Q: My last architect designed a building that looked great, but cost so much
it left little return on my investment. What is your approach?
A: Lucia, Kassik & Monday
incorporates a team approach with a broad level of experience, service, creativity
and communication to maintain the goals in the scope of work. We utilize the
strength of the builder as a team member to keep costs in check.
Q: Are you limited in the stories, or height, you can design in a building?
A: No, we have extensive experience in all structure types, from single family
residences to high-rise buildings. Our credentials allow us to explore solutions
of any height building that will fit the needs of our clients.
